About Blackstone Rivers Ranch

Blackstone Rivers Ranch is a boutique wedding venue located in Idaho Springs, about 35 minutes west of Denver, Colorado. This rustic chic ranch is the perfect place to celebrate your wedding no matter the season of the year. It offers the best of both worlds, surrounded by a forest on a riverfront property with mountain views.

You can say “I do” while standing in the lush forest, surrounded by loved ones, before heading to their elegant lodge or stunning outdoor tented reception space to continue the celebration. When you book your wedding here, you will have private access to their entire property!

Romantic Blackstone Rivers Ranch Wedding

Kellie and Matt got married at Blackstone Rivers Ranch last fall, and it was the most romantic day. After almost a decade of loving each other, they made spending the rest of their lives together official.

To help you understand the meaning behind some of the photos, I wanted to share a few personal details about them. Sadly, both of their fathers have passed away. There were many emotional moments throughout the day when their fathers were brought up, which was very special. For example, they included photos of both of them on a table during the ceremony so they could “be there” when they said, “I do.” In addition to remembering loved ones who passed, they included a few Jewish wedding traditions in their day – breaking of glass and the Hora dance (sometimes referred to as the chair dance).

There were so many details and moments I loved about their wedding day, but one of my favorites was the custom sleeves Kellie wore during the reception. It said her new last name and their wedding date. It’s so fun to see how my couples incorporate different things into their wedding attire or the day itself to make it feel more personal and unique to who they are!
