One of the most stressful parts of planning is finding your locations and following all of their rules with guests, props, etc. I will help you with figuring out what permits are needed and actually obtaining it.

This is the most time extensive part of every wedding photographer's workflow. I'm sure you've heard horror stories about couples not receiving wedding photos for over 6 months. Hand on heart, your gallery will be delivered in the amount of time I have promised you.
While it does take over 9 hours to edit a gallery from start to finish, you can rest assured knowing that I am giving every image my undivided attention. That pesky break out? No more. Orange skin tones? Not in your wedding photos. Muted colors? Definitely not. It is of the utmost importance to deliver a timeless, true-to-color gallery.
Not only will you receive a gallery of images, but part of my editing process includes making you the GIFs we created on the day. I am so excited for you to see your images come to life in this unique way.

I live in Denver, CO! I love the mountains, and I'm always down to travel to the place you feel most at home! So many photographers call themselves destination photographers, but they barely travel themselves. Travel is such an essential part of my life - always has been since I could hop on a plane or go on a roadtrip. To me, it's not about the destination or the portfolio experience, it's about the feeling souls get when they're engulfed in nature. I know how I feel when I'm in those places with my love, and travel is one big thing that inspires me, my creativity, and this business! All of that being said, I only take on a limited amount of destination weddings and elopements per year so that I'm able to be fully present for every single client, so rest assured, you will get the highest level of care. My travel pricing guides include all travel expenses associated based on the region of the country or the international destination. I include my travel to make it super easy for you. No crazy hidden fees or planning any of my travel here - you can leave it all to me to show up ready to rock on your big day!
Within the state of Colorado, I charge minimal travel fees beyond 60 miles of Denver. If your wedding or elopement is not local to Colorado, my travel expenses include a roundtrip flight, hotel stay for at least 2 nights, and a rental car for transportation. I am happy to come up with a custom travel quote for you if your celebration includes more than these general travel plans.
I am always scouting out gorgeous locations around the world... like every day. It's one of my favorite parts about being an elopement photographer! If I'm not living in the area you choose, I find locations for you by utilizing multiple online resources that allow me to see a live view of the area, different blogs + websites explaining the location, Google Earth, and more! So even if I haven't been to the area or venue you're choosing, I have likely done extensive research on the area. If I'm completely new to the location you're interested in for your elopement day, it is included in every package for me to do all the research and guide you in selecting the best spots for your ceremony, sharing your vows, portraits, etc. Additionally, I always go to the location the day before your elopement day to scout it in person! You will never have to wonder if we know where we're going. I'm here to guide you so you can focus on what matters most! Lastly, you can rest assured knowing you're getting a photographer who is a well versed traveler.
I typically deliver around 60-85 images per hour of shooting. Every day is unique so I don't put a minimum or maximum on your photos. It truly depends on the events you incorporate, the amount of coverage, and all of the moments that take place! I always deliver the best photos and I promise not to leave any special ones out. I have always said that I know which photos are my favorites, but you may love the ones completely opposite from me and that's what matters. So I leave it up to you to decide which photos you love most!
I send all photos to you through an online gallery that you're welcome to share with friends and family! For weddings and elopements, you can also expect to receive a package in the mail after your gallery delivery with a cute USB, any prints you've ordered, and a little thank you from me.
It is of the utmost importance to me for you to have your photos back as soon as possible! I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image and editing is never just a click-and-done kinda thing. I have a turnaround time for sessions of 4 weeks with a sneak peek within a few days from the session. For elopements, the turnaround time is 6-10 weeks depending on the season. I also send a sneak peek to you within a week after your elopement day so you can post to the 'gram, get announcements printed, and enjoy right away with your people! If you'd like your photos sooner than my turnaround time, you are welcome to purchase the rush fee listed above!

There are many photographers who don't enjoy having guests at an elopement. To me, my motto is this is your day, your way. I have found that around 15 guests is a great size for it to truly feel like an intimate elopement, so that is what I classify as an elopement. Have more guests than that? No worries, I photograph weddings of all kind (because I freaking love love). Just get in touch and I will send you all of the information that applies to your dream day.
Yes! Payments are automatically set up in my booking schedule. I require the $1997 non-refundable retainer to book your date, and beyond that we will split your payments into three additional installments. Just let me know on our discovery call or by email if there's a specific timeframe that will be best for your payments.
I have heard so many horror stories about photographers losing images - my friend's wedding included. I backup every single photo I take at 6 different places at once, all of these hosts being totally different. For example, I take photos on 2 cards while I'm shooting, I store all images on 2 hard drives, the cloud, and I keep the images on the original SD card in a fireproof safe until I have delivered the gallery to you! Losing your images from the most special day is not something I'm willing to leave up to chance, so I've got you here!

No! In fact, I know I'm not trying to hike 5+ miles on your elopement day, so I doubt you are either. There are many locations around the world that are super easy access and still look like you hiked over 10 miles to get there. The biggest thing to consider with this is the popularity of that area and how secluded you envision your wedding day. I help with this when it comes to locations, but sometimes going the extra mile makes all the difference! Or have a city elopement!! Do whatever feels like you, not what you think you have to do.

Based on your location, I can send vendors for videography, planners, dresses, florals, catering, hair and makeup artists, rental companies, and more. I'm always connecting with people in the industry all around the world, so I continue adding to my recommendation list daily! When your day is decked out with the best people I know, it makes for really detailed photos that add so much to your entire elopement gallery!
