Horsetooth reservoir is one of Colorado’s most scenic outdoor paradises with water. The reservoir goes as far as the eye can see since it’s over 6 miles long. It’s surrounded by rolling hills, mountains, trails, and even beach access! This is a beautiful backdrop for any engagement session, wedding, or elopement.
Even if you aren’t looking for a location for your next photoshoot, this should become your new adventure spot. You can bike and hike with stunning views and boat, fish, swim, paddleboard, and even scuba dive in the reservoir! There are camping and RV spots around the reservoir which are open year round. If that’s not your vibe, but you want to stay the night, there are cabins and B&Bs in the area! It’s also super close to a state park which is where we ended the night for this engagement session.
