Looking to get married in Arizona? The Paseo is the perfect place for your Arizona desert wedding. Say “I do” with the majestic Superstition Mountains as your backdrop, and take your wedding photos surrounded by natural Sonoran desert views. Not only is this venue breathtaking in every way, but the Paseo staff goes above and beyond to make your wedding day memorable!
If you are planning to get married in Arizona, then you need to keep a few things in mind. Summer will be HOT (remember it’s the desert and most venues close this time of year anywards!). I would recommend getting married anytime from fall to spring. While the sun will still be quite intense, the daily temperatures won’t be quite as bad! Another tip is to make sure you (and all your guests) stay hydrated! It’s easy for people to get dehydrated in a hot, dry climate. Lastly, your ceremony will most likely be in direct, full sun so keep that in mind and plan accordingly!
This Paseo desert wedding was so incredible it made me consider moving to Arizona haha! So, keep reading my blog to fall in love with this stunning venue (and envision your own wedding here), just like I did!
About The Paseo
The Paseo is a family-owned and operated venue located at the foot of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona. It was created and designed with intentionality to be a unique outdoor wedding venue in the Phoenix area. The views from the entire property are absolutely stunning, seriously! In addition to the beautiful landscape, the indoor portion of their venue is a modern glass house. So, you get the perks of getting married in the middle of the desert (aka the views) with the luxury of being at a full-service venue.
One of my favorite parts about this wedding venue is how truly magical the lighting is here during golden hour and sunset. Many times, couples take their golden hour portraits at the venue but it’s not always scenic. Well, the Paseo has so many scenic areas that are perfect for photos! All the photos you see in this blog were taken on the venues property (rather than going off-site for sunset photos).
If you are planning to get married off-site somewhere in the desert, then you should know The Paseo also offers a reception-only package. It would be the perfect place to celebrate with all your friends and family after a private elopement ceremony. So no matter the size of your wedding, The Paseo has an option for you!

Desert Glam Wedding at The Paseo
Michelle and Boomer had the most stunning, chic desert wedding at The Paseo. But before we get into all their freaking amazing wedding day details, I wanted to share a few details about who they are as a couple. Michelle and Boomer have been together for a very long time – through the good times and difficult times, including the loss of a parent. It was so sweet witnessing the emotion of all of the friends and family members throughout their wedding, as well as the two of them, on just how special the day was.
Firstly, regarding the details of their wedding day, we need to talk about the signage! Since the bride, Michelle, is a stationer she DIY’d it all herself. Just wait until you see their “Best Day Ever” sign….it was made from moving boxes and, of course, completely transformed into the most colorful decoration. You will be seriously blown away by her creative vision in designing everything for their wedding day!
Well, I could keep going on and on about how much I loved their wedding day details but I’ll just let them speak for themselves in the photos below!
Are you looking to hire a photographer who captures timeless, effortless, undeniably you imagery? Let’s chat – reach out to me here!
You’re looking for a photographer who sees YOU, not just your wedding.
You’re dreaming of timeless, effortless, documentary-style images that feel completely “undeniably-you”. You value refined details and curated experiences, but never at the expense of real moments.
If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’m Claire and you’ve just found your photographer. Knowing when to step in and step out, you’ll have all of the moments you wanted and those you didn’t even know you’d be hoping for.
Moments are constantly fleeting. That sounds depressing at first, but I don't mean it that way. More so, this reality gives me an incredible importance as a wedding photographer to capture the future memory within that moment as it truly happened. Isn't that a beautiful thing?
I'm not interested in photographing fabricated version of you or your day. I want to photograph the real stuff. The tears, laughs, and stolen glances... Your guests dressed to the nines and bringing the party on the dance floor. And mostly, the unplanned, undeniably-you moments during one of the biggest celebrations of your life.
If you're looking for a documentary-style photographer who appreciates all of the big and small moments, who will make your guests feel seen and known, and who truly cares about storytelling every moment that makes your day yours, you've found your match.
As your photographer, I believe in photographing who you actually are.
