Let’s talk about why it’s so important to master the foundations of your business when considering attracting your dream couples. The foundations are:
- Portfolio building
- Marketing
- Website
- Client experience
- Organization
You won’t find anything else out there in the education world for photographers that have this kind of approach. I know it works because it’s the strategy that took me from being a nurse to becoming a full-time photographer in just 3 months. It’s also worked for many of my students – they’re being ghosted less and actually converting their inquiries into bookings.
If you think about it, if you don’t have the portfolio that will attract your dream couples, nothing else matters. Once you start building that dream portfolio, you can market those photos and your portfolio in a way that makes you stand out from the crowd and targets your dream couples. You don’t know how couples will come across your marketing, but once they do, usually they’ll head to your website next. You have to have a website that makes them excited to inquire with you! Then once they reach out, you need to have a great client experience and be organized so you serve them well.
