Steamboat Springs is the perfect location for your summer Colorado mountain wedding! From the sweeping mountain views to beautiful forests that are ideal for any dreamy ceremony setting. Steamboat Springs is beautiful mountain town located in Colorado’s Yampa Valley, about 150 miles from Denver. While it’s famous for it’s world class ski resorts, summer in the mountains is just as iconic. So, if you ask me, it’s truly the perfect place for a mountain wedding!
Jamie and Chris had their Colorado mountain wedding at the Glen Eden Resort on a warm summer day in June. They were surrounded by their family and friends in celebration in the dreamy, Colorado mountain woods. It was the perfect wedding day to celebrate their love story!
My sweet couple, Jamie and Chris met in college. Their first date was also in the Colorado mountains. They met up in Silverthorne before hiking up Buffalo Mountain. Chris packed the summit beers and Jamie brought the Pb&J’s. It was such a sweet memory, it actually made it’s way into their wedding day vows! Basically, they were a match made in heaven and the rest of their love story is history.
As you look through their stunning wedding photos, you may notice their sweet dog, Seamus. He’s very important to them and was equally part of the wedding party as any human! Any other couples out there that feel the same way about their pets?!
They wanted their wedding day photos to capture the genuine, candid moments without the day feeling constantly interrupted. So, of course, as their photographer, I did my best to accomplish just that. Their wedding day was such a special day filled with moments that were uniquely them!
